New rare earth hydrogen storage alloy materials and new products with independent intellectual property rights -- developed by Baotou Zhongke Xuanda New Energy Technology Co -- have made major progress, according to a report in Baotou Daily.
The paper reported that the materials and products from the company -- located in Baotou city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region -- have been widely used in domestic power batteries and hydrogen storage projects, greatly promoting the technological progress of the green new energy industry.

According to company officials, the company has established a complete production line for new rare earth hydrogen storage materials.
The technology is protected by the company's independent intellectual property rights and the group has established a continuous and stable production process and product control system.
Through scientific research and product development, the company has developed a series of new high-capacity rare earth hydrogen storage alloy products with efficient electrochemical and hydrogen storage characteristics.
As a secondary energy source with a wide range of sources, clean as well as carbon-free, flexible and efficient hydrogen has rich and extensive prospective applications in the fields of automobiles, railways, ships, aerospace, logistics, power supplies and heating.
As a bridge from hydrogen production to utilization, hydrogen storage technology refers to a technology that stores hydrogen in a stable form of energy for convenient use.
The high-capacity hydrogen storage alloy electrode material produced by Zhongke Xuanda is a key material for the development and production of high-power and large-scale energy storage power batteries.
To date, a number of new rare earth hydrogen storage alloy products -- such as high-capacity and high-power power battery materials, high-capacity low-temperature-resistant power battery materials, as well as high-capacity large-scale energy storage battery materials -- have been developed by the company and put onto the market.
